Might the partial government shutdown directly impact your deal?
The President and Congress as yet are unable to agree on the provisions of a Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the federal government. As a result, a partial shutdown of some government operations has occurred.
This shutdown includes some federal housing, mortgage, and other programs of interest to the real estate industry. I know of at least one client that has had a closing delayed indefinitely as a direct result of the shutdown.
